The previously announced physical wav-quality cd of Robotica, which includes a full-color cover with artwork from Aaron Bieber, is now available at LINK and other outlets.

The difference with the mp3 versions at stores like iTunes and Spotify is striking. Especially in fuller mixes like Robotica: The Saga Continues, you can immediately hear the difference. Instruments become more pronounced, hi-hats stay clear everywhere, fade-ins/fade-outs don't give extra noise and generally, the mixes sound much more open and transparant.

Those who want the fastest delivery and don't mind creating a profile at another site for that, can order the cd straight from the source at cdbaby: LINK This is where the cd's ordered at outlets like Amazon are coming from anyway.

Supplies are limited, but if the wav quality cd is a success, we'll have more of them made and may even consider a wav quality version of Synthetika.

As this was an experiment, the first batch only consisted of 5 cd's. These were sold out within 2 days, which looks promising!

We're working on a second (larger) batch. Please allow some time for restocking.

We will need to work out a different distribution model, as the current model is very inefficient and expensive (basically we have the cd's made in the States, then they must be flown back to Holland, and then we have to resend them back to another address in the States, from where they are distributed to retailers). The current profit is like -9 dollars per cd, so the more we sell, the poorer we get. This model is currently being forced upon us by our agent, but something really needs to change there.

We're working on it
